Hi all,
I'm having problem with record duplicating in CR 8.5.
If I have two-pages report, sometimes the last record from the first page is viewed as the first record in the second page too. In my opinion, this is problem with format section configuration, but I haven't found a mistake.

Can you help me?

Thanks.

Yes, I have always had this problem for certain lists from database.

Do you have the field that is repeating in 2 different sections? When you preview, look to the left margin of each of the duplicates and tell us what the section abbreviation is for both of them. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

Insert a special field of "Record Number" into your report. If the record number is different, then your database had duplicate data. Software Training and Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine

I'm not having duplicate data in database. I already verified it. In addition, this is problem only top and bottom of pages.

I'm having two section details a, details b in my report. There are two subreports in details b. Section details a is printed always. Section details b is printed only if not duplicated.

I tried bottom margin of my report. If I changed value of bottom margin to the other, this problem don't occur. But only for this list. This is not systematic solution.

What is the suppress formula for Details B. Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

Formula and two subreports are viewed every time in detail B. I have a formula, which are sometimes surprised in detail A?

I am afraid that this is too complex to solve in a Tek-Tips thread. You might want to consider getting an expert to look at the report. There are several experts here (you can tell by looking at our signatures) who are also available for rent. Please make contact outside of TT, since recruiting is not allowed here.
