You can't, needs to ne a digital/IP handset with a "Pause Recording" button

and that pauses only for a predetermined time that you can set and then continues

No code, just a button as far as I'm aware

if you are on the phone you can't dial a shortcode so you will definitely need a button setup for it

you can start recording with a SC, but you can't stop or pause it with a SC.
You need a manual record button, or a pause recording button (which pauses the recording for a predetermined time, but otherwise keeps the recording in a single "piece").
If you're trying to use the manual record button to "pause" it will break the recording in two. if you're trying completely end the recording, then the record button is what you want to use to both start and stop the recording.
