To get brainbench certification in delphi i would suggest you to get accquainted with OOP in delphi, Class hierarchies and delphi standard components properties.
Personally, I would work toward a Borland certification instead. Brainbench may be getting there, but a certification from the actual publisher will mean more. I mean, think about it...how many hiring managers have actually *heard* of BrainBench?
Besides, if you have to ask how to ace the test, the you don't really know the product, do you? You know how to pass a test. Whoopee... Stay away from my team, because I'm looking for people who understand the product, the VCL, and the language, not (deleted) who only passed a test.

If you are really new in Delphi,
try teach yourself delphi in 21 days first, it will crank up your skill.
After that, hit the certification, i've tried it and it should not be too hard.
