Hello

I am looking for a backup solution for my small business. Current requirements are only around 30GB, but obviously it may be worth going for higher capacity to allow for future expansion. I want to backup two pcs over an ethernet network, and possibly another computer over a vpn.

I have just had a bad experience with onstream! Can anyone recommend a reliable backup solution that is not going to become obsolete?

Thanks

Richard

We are using Relative Rev Backup for backing 17Gig server to a local network server over a 100Mbps Ethernet network. It seems to be working pretty well for us.

What is nice about Relative Rev Backup is that it takes incremental backups, while it can restore any backup in a single session, so it saves time and space. Plus, you can easily configure it to automatically delete outdated snapshots, which minimizes our maintenance.

It is very inexpensive, about $100 for the pro edition, available from www.datamills.com. And, its quite easy to setup and use.
