Is it possible to have router/firewall block content websites but allow them access via a password. We have websites we need to block in our company, but becasue the nature of our busniess, some of our personall need access to these sites (No, not porn...lol)
I would like to issue a passowrd so they can access these sites.
can anyone recommend a router/firewall for a company under 50 employees. Dont want to go crazy on cost. hopfully around $1000...thanks

I don't know of any that will allow access by password but there is such a device that will allow access by user groups. Usually these devices integrate with Active Directory,NDS,Ldap, etc. You can then setup groups and different content filtering policies based on the group. That way group A can follow one set of content filtering rules and group B can follow another set. I know that is kind of vague and if you would like more detail I can explain it a little better. Here is a device I usually recommend because it is fairly priced and does all of things you require.

Inet+

a web proxy like blue coat would work. you can also look at websense. you can create groups of people that can access certain sites
