Recomended IDS

HI All,

I am looking for and IDS solution that will integrate with Checkpoint. The OPSEC site shows many that are certified. Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with any of these?

Any recomendations appreciated.

did u tried the Real Secure ?

I second tg25: I installed Real Secure once at a customer's site and I liked it right away. You have to fiddle for a while with what you want to be alerted about after the initial installation, but that's true for any IDS.

In the freeware world, there's always "snort" (
