Hello all!

I have a group of rectangles that all call the same macro. What I would like if for the macro to recognize which rectangle was just clicked on and use that information to edit variables to run a master macro.

example:
Rectangle_7
Rectangle_8
Rectangle_9

All have the same macro assigned to run. Can I get the macro to recognize it was Rectangle_8 that launched it and say for example, add 8 to a vaiable to react with the correct rows on the worksheet.

I hope I am being clear, not sure though.

I looked through the FAQ but didn't find anything, but maybe I missed something.

Thanks!

Pat

Have you tried Application.Caller?

Cheers, Glenn.

Did you hear about the literalist show-jumper? He broke his nose jumping against the clock.

Thanks!

I am going to have to fiddle with this to get the 27 from "Rectangle27" into a variable so I can adjust cell locations based on what I selected but this certainly helps!

Thanks again.
