Recent Problems with Live Update

The last 2 times I ran live update(manually thru interactive mode) it gave me an error message that live update failed to download/ install the new file. Both times I had to reboot, this time, I had to reboot twice in order to download and install the small new definition that came out yesterday. I am still using the 2004 90 day version that I extended by extending my subscription.
Windows xp pro
pentium 4
512 ram
Don't tell me I'm going to have to uninstall and start from scratch!!
Anyone, please post if you have experienced similiar problems recently.

Had somewhat the same problem yesterday. My NAV said it had problems installing the downloaded definitions; however, I'm certain it never actually downloaded the definitions. Hopefully, it's glitch at Sym's end.

I downloaded and installed the definitions manually.

Mine worked with the latest definitions today, dated 14 Sept. I have a feeling there was a glitch somewhere at the other end of the conduit.
