Thanks for reply however I have not compacted or repaired the database.
 
Actually I was suggesting that you should try this by going to Tools then Database utilities. ljprodev@yahoo.com

Sorry, I have now tried that and still receive the same message, I can go into the design of each subform without any problems separately but now through the main subform.
 
Sorry for just shooting in the dark, but do you have any ActiveX or Third Party controls on your form?
