Hi,

We just installed a UC520 Call manager Express system, but we have a problem with incoming calls.
An incoming call from ISDN network works fine, but from analog network does not work at all. I think the problem is due to the fact the ISDN network sends digits in block instead of digits by digits like the PSTN network.

Do you know how or which parameters should be configured to allow this reception mode ?

Thank you for your help.

By analog are you talking about a line connected to an FXO port? If so, this line does NOT send digits at all, it is only a voltage representing an incoming ring. To accept incoming calls on this port, you have to set it as a PLAR port that automatically rings a specific inside extension number.

To do this go into the voice-port configurations and put in the command:
connection plar XXXX where XXXX is the number of the phone that you want to get the call.

No, by analog I mean a call from outside from analog line such as you've got at home. A line where the dialled number is sent digits by digits not in block like from the GSM network.
For example, if you call my UC from your home, you are calling from analog line.

Post your configuration as it relates to your incoming trunks.

wether you call form an analogue, gsm or ISDN line it will be presented in the same way. Think about it the call doesnt get to you until the complete digit string is dialled as the PSTN/ gsm networks wont know where to send it, & pndscm is correct analogue is just ringing voltage, & on nearly all systems is generally set to terminate on a specific set. As with all questions please include some config to give us a fighting chance.

Remember if it doesn't work hit it harder
