Somehow my copy of Microsoft Outlook 2003 has gotten set to convert all received e-mails in plain text format. How can I change it so that all received e-mails are converted to HTML format?

Thanks,

Gerry Goldberg

Try going to Tools, Options, Preferences Tab, Email Options Button.

See if "Read all standard mail in plain text" is checked. If so remove the check.

The "Read all standard e-mails in plain text" option is NOT checked. Any other suggestions?

There's an ambiguity in the information and subject. Are you saying that ALL emails are received in HTML or that all emails regardless of format are displayed in plain text?

If emails are sent to you in plain text or RTF, there is no way to convert them to HTML automatically. You can reply to plain text and convert to HTML, but not convert the received mail to HTML.
