Our Reception voicemail takes a lot of evening voicemails... many of which are for other departments.

I have been asked to reprogram our Reception Nightime vector so that customers can press 1 to shoot off to New Business and leave a message on their evening voicemail, 2 to shoot off to Customer Services and leave a message there, 3 to shoot off to Collections there and leave a message. If no button is pressed they are forced to leave a message on the Reception Nightime voicemail.

The problem is this, I have set up a test VDN which will automatically take me to the Reception Night time vector, but when i press 1, 2 or 3, I get sent off to a voicemail which just says 'RECALLED'.

Has anyone got any ideas why this happens and how I can overcome it?? Do I have to wait until our Reception closes before I can fully test this??

Thanx for your help!!)

How did you do it? Like to know what the problem was...

VDN Override?

I don't know VDN but interest to know how you solved the problem.

Without using VDN, I would use autoatt to do what you want to do.

Can anyone shine some light on using VDN over using autoatt for this problem?

Happy phoning!
