Rebuilding new Exch 2K and restore with IBM Tivoli

Hi All,

Our Exchange 2000 box crashed and I have no choice to create another server with the same name so I can restore from backup.

However, my AD guy insist that we should remove its name from AD then do clean install. In the mean time, I can't rename to another server because IMB Tivoli Software won't restore. I am stuck in the middle and don't know what to do.

Please help ASAP.

Re install in Disaster recovery mode:

X:\setup\i386\setup.exe /disasterrecovery

This will reclaim the AD configuration information for the re built server running E2K and returns the E2K files to the computer.

Also re install any service packs in using the disaster recovery switch as well.

still not working. on the first link as and L after the m (why it cuts of one letter is beyond me.

on the second link after the ; add DE;257508
