How do I rebuild the IP-500 thru the RS232 port? Was upgrading software and it failed and now it does not want to come back up.

Thanks in advance...

joe8413, no offence but the ACS would suggest that you already know how to do this :)

Company don't got me doing these IPO's anymore so I have not touched these IP-500. I actually remebered how to do the procedure for the old ones, but had no luck bringing it back up. My ACS is on other stuff, but u seem to have the ACS for IPO so u have any good suggestions for me. :)

Anyway....rather than use the DTE port I would go for the reset button first:
As long as you have previously connected to the system you will have an almost up to date copy (except the last change/changes) of the config. You can open this and then send it to the system :)

Failing that the DTE method is your only remaining option, at what point did it fail as the procedure hasn't changed :)

I had used the reset button and had no luck at all. I actually took this equipment out of the box and was working fine till I decided to upgrade it to the latest version and thats when it failed and now it does not want to do anything.

I actually followed the instructions and got the IP 500 to work. I used the AT-DEBUG which was new for me because I had already did the AT commands with no luck. Anyways thanks for the help and the link.
