I have an Exchange 2000 server which appears to have a memory leak. I've tried everything I can to resolve the problem but I'm forced to conclude the only thing left to try is a complete rebuild of the server. I have a single DC running 2K and a single Exchange server. My plan is to include a second Exchange 2000 server and migrate the users to this temporarily. I will then follow the KB article detailing the removal of the first Exchange server in a domain and rebuild the source machine. I was planning to rebuild the source machine with Windows 2003 server and Exchange 2000. Once I've moved the data back I will upgrade the Exchange server to 2003 as well.

Can anyone see any potential problems here, or tried anything similar?

Much appreciation in advance.
