Rebooted my PBX and now some ports dead

I rebooted the definity system prior to making adding a new DS1 circuit as the PBX has been acting strange. Now it is even worse.

I have over 20 stations that do not work. The pbx seems to thik that they are disconnected. I have tried unpluging the sets for 30 seconds, but this did nothing. I have re-seated the digital and analog cards, but this only clears up a couple lines.

WHen I do "status tti" it tells me that some ports were not translated, but it does not indicate that it is even trying to finish the job.

Has anyone experienced this and more importantly know how to relove this issue without another reboot?

Thanks

What is the software level of you Definity? Did you do a save translation or a backup disk full? What happens at the station when you hit the test button? If you connect a set in the switch room on one of these dead ports does it work?

we have version 6 and saved the translation before powering down. Most phones are working fine, it is just few that are doing this. When I connect a phone direclty to the port it does not work, it just powers up the set, that is about it.

I would try to "X" port one of the stations and build another test line up on the same port just to see what happens. That will let you know if some of your ports may have went south on you or if translations were lost since the power down.

are they on the same board? You could try a busyout and release or a test station to see what's up, when you do a dis sta is there a port number or x?
