Reboot standby s8730 via telnet

I cannot web browse to our standby S8730. I can ping it and telnet to it but thats it.

Does anyone know how to do a reboot from the bash prompt?

go to the web interface in the active server. Once you log in and go to maintenance then there should be a link to the standby server on the top. Look on the top right. It says This Server and Duplicate Server. Click it, then log into the standby.

Just do a stop -r for a reboot. For a shutdown you can do a stop -h. If the system is active you have do to stop -rf to force it.

This is a remote site that i need to be sure it reboots.

stop -r is a reboot, so the system will start again automaticly. I've just tested it again and it works.
Below you can find the options for stop:
dadmin@server2> stop -? |more

USAGE: stop -a [-cbfin]
stop -h [-cbfin]
stop -r [-cbfin]
stop -s application [-Sbcfn]

-a will stop all applications
-c will continually display system status
-f will override any warnings/errors encountered with with the -a, -h,
-r and -s options
-h will stop all applications and then execute a processor halt
-i immediately stop all applications without allowing them to clean up
-n do not prompt before prior to executing this command
-r will stop all applications and then execute a processor reboot
-S do not return until application(s) is stopped. Normally, this
command returns when the stop request has been received by the
system.
-b will tell CMO to stop monitoring(Only for VM-blade).
-s will stop a specific application. Applications can be:
