hi,

in the realitis there is a setting in the system parameters for the trunk cleardown timer.

I have an issue on site between an cisco 3300 and the qsig cards where the qsig channels on the cisco end are locking up. (possibly in the dsp sw). 90 channels set to cyclic and still getting lockouts infrequently on all channels.

this i believe may be related to the cisco teardown timer (default setting is 30 sec).
Does anyone know what the command lssp XXXXXX to show what the pbx timer is set at so that I can try and match the two timers.

cheers

thanks will have a look at the programming setup

the exch side of the qsig card is a network card and the firmware should be 2.07,any lower than this is known to cause lockups, you need to get your maintainer to check this as the software required (GEDI SCRIPT IN PROCOMM)is as
far as i am aware only available to siemens employees.
hope this helps if your still having problems.

thanks dazzzzzzz

yip problems are still there, infrequent and affecting service.
we were looking at the router side of things as the realitis does connect the channel , through to the VOIP gateway router and then on to VOIP server.

we can see the connection on the server, but no audio is heard, this normally occurs in blocks of 4 consecutive trunks, which seemed to point us in the direction of the routers dsp modules.

will check the firmware level of the qsig cards.

will let you know what it is at.

cheers
