Realitis DX - hunt group question

Hello,

Do any Siemens DX experts know if it is possible to configure all phones in a hunt group to ring all at the same time, ie a broadcast ring, on a Siemens Realitis DX please, instead of the phones bouncing to each extension within the hunt group?

Any tips is much appreciated.

Hi there,
I,m afraid that there is no such function on a Realitis DX. The "Hunt Groups" will only do Cyclic (Distribution Group) or Linear (Hunt Group) searching on incoming calls. The only way to get a Realitis DX to call a group of phones simultaneously is probably with the introduction of something like a DAKS server or now known as Openscape Alarm Response OScAR). This is an UNIFY branded conferencing product that uses ISDN30 or ISDN2 trunks as an interface. But it isn't cheap!!
I have attached an overview of this for your information. Not sure if it will help though.
