Hello. I have a SCCS 5.0 server and I have the RTD set to collect on a 24-hour interval starting at 12:15am. ABout every month or so the counters will reset to 0 in during the day for no apparent reason. This causes problems with our Symon boards and such and I have not been able to determin the cause. Could it be a buffering issue or has someone else experiences this? The reason for the long interval is our call center admin folks want to see the acitivity for the whole day when they are viewing RTD.

Is your event browser or Alarm Monitor showing any type of strange errors during this time? or the history log of the PBX? Perhaps an INI?

Not that I can find. I will have to check it right at the time of the error next time it happens.

Same issue here. Has been driving me crazy for some time. Checked logs of Symposium as well as server and i just can't find any single event that would cause the stats to reset.

Is someone resetting the time in the PBX? If so you should be able to see it in the alarm monitor.

Description will show..
Step time adjustment has been made.

Make sure that Windows Time Service is disabled and that Daylight Savings time and Internet Time are not checked on the server.

I indeed see this time syncing in the Symposium event log. I did disable the server time service but have a feeling this is a symposium subsystem that is syncing with the PBX so disbling the time service will not do any good. Anyway, time will tell.

HuntClub,

Just make sure and inform your pbx support folks to make time changes off-hours.

We had a problem were our pbx technician was always changing the time in the pbx to match the time on his pc.

MAS Time Service is the Symposium subsystem that needs to synch with the PBX. If you have Windows Time Service on, it conflicts.

Did you also uncheck Daylight Savings Time and Internet Time?

I have not disabled the daylight savings and will do so. As far as i know, my techs do not set internet time but will ensure that. Thanks !

Since i rely only on the Symposium time service, my reports show a time that is one hour later than it should. I may have solved the GRTD display but crapped my reporting :). I am as good with a PBX console as a turkey so i will wait for my regular Bell tech to show up to check the time on the phone system.
