reading from my localhost

My first issue was I didn't have the right extensions mapped. Before I mapped them I was getting an error that stated I could read an XML doc with an XSL form, or something like that. I looked on line, found out about the mapping and walla, the error did not appear, but then I got the IE7 cannot display the requested webpage. Help, web dev is a whole new world to me. Thanks

didn't work. Before it gave the error above. Then after I selected the asp.net version, it said it cannot display the webpage. When I use

http://localhost:1703/Default.aspx

it works fine. This is what visual web developer produced when I started the debugger. I copied the Default.aspx page from the project file and dumped in the c:inetpub/

http://wwwroot

directory. Still can't get it to work from the directory.

Nevermind, I found it, I reregistered my asp.net, then restarted a service from the IIS management area under the website folder, and it worked.
