Our stores inventory was implemented as a .CSV file years ago and the Company will not be upgrading this soon. I have created my own .CSV from Excel for expermental LINKING to ACCESS2000 and found that whilst I can add new items I cannot edit/amend old values. Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction.

TIA

MArk

You cannot edit linked text files using Access97 or 2000. See Microsoft KB article Q180105. It looks to me like you'll have import/export using Access.

I would suggest importing the data into your access program. That way you can have more control over it like searching for values, reporting etc. jlitondo@gatecitysteel.com
