Read Only Filesystem

Hi all,

I have a directory on one of my Samba Servers that has recently become read only... I've checked the permissions on it and all looks ok, I am being denied write access even as root, Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What does "mount" have to say about it?

/dev/md0 on /folder type ext3 (rw)

And is it readonly to a shell login or just to samba users?

I have resolved the issue by unmounting the drive and running an fsck on it.
