I have received a meesage on one of my 2k servers

"Windows - FT Orphaning
A disk that is part of a fault-tolerantvolume can no longer be accessed"

I checked disk management and found that one of the hdds (we have 2 mirrored hard drives) is labeleg "missing" with a nice red x!

I would like to try and re-activate the disk before I assume that hdd is gone and start breakign the mirror.

Can I try to reactivate while folks are still logged in?

Only one of the hdds is offline, the other is working fine as I'm still logged in and am able to access network resources.

The mirror should rebuild with no intrupition to your users at all expect for the fact that the server may be a little slow during the the rebuild.
