Reach Line Card with Remote 9115 units 1

Hi,

I have installed the first 9115 unit on this card which is using PSTN only. I cannot call the HOST dedicated port, the network returns an error message (the service cannot be conected)
If I dial it manually using any old phone I get the same. I should get modem training tones on the RLC port.
I've reset the card using config mgr but this did not help.
I'm using sw 1.6.0

sounds like a setup issue

Have you setup the Dataport with a DID number?

And in the reach card config set port for PSTN? You could also have the card call the 9115 PSTN number.

I have the data port set up as DID. If I out the data TN & call DDI I get defaulted to the swbd, this verifies the DDI.
I do get modem tones if i dial it internally from a phone.

I have printed out the data TN. There is a SCH code that displays under the HUNT prompt everytime I print it. Maybe this is somthing to go on ?

Your issue is because of the sch3706.

You'll need to add CLS = FLXA VCE WTA

Make the change and try it again.

Change CLS HTA to allow HUNT.

Thanks all. I did not want hunt enabled but the CLS changes for VCEFLXA WTA worked a treat. Apparently although its a data TN, you need to select VCE for it to work.
