re: WMI regist of exch03 namespace

Hello
i am trying to clear up a bunch of wmi related event viewer errors. I've been able to use wmidiag.vbs to get a determination that WMI is working correctly. However, i now see event id 9097 mad monitoring thread unable to connect to WMI re: exch system attendant.
So i see i need to re-register the exch03 namespace with WMI.
I need a file called "wmicons.exe" which produces another file "wbemcons.mof" which is needed to do the re-reg.
I located the file on the exch03 CD, tried it and i get
"this platform is not supported - need Win2000"

What gives???

it suggests to re-run setup and choose the "Re-install" option. Have you tried that?

I actually found a set of commands to run to re-register things and recompile mof files etc - i'm all good now
