HEllo all!
ANy help is greatly appreciated. No help from Lucent, and I am not paying $1 a minute for someone to go over the basics!
I have a pipeline 130 (6.1.44) with a full T1. I have 2 issues I was wondering if someone could help me out with.
1. No matter what switch/hub I connect the ethernet to, I get massive collisions on the ethernet side of the router. currently I have it connected to a managed 10/100 switch and set to 10Mbs Half Duplex with no flow control. No matter what I try I still get an average of 2-3 per second !!!
2. I have tried setting up the Ascend/Lucent SecureCOnnect firewall to no avail! I'm sure all the settings are correct, but as soon as I turn the firewall on, my throughput drops from 192KBps to 3 or 4 KBps! The firewall works, I mean its blocking the traffic it should be blocking, but yet the throughput is highly decreased. I have searched hi and low for some sort of reason but no luck. TIA
