I work for a financial institution with 70 locations across the midwest. I have about 30 Option 11's. I have found where you can download software versions from the Nortel web site and want to try reinstalling the software on one of the Option 11's. I have an Option 11C on a test bench I can use. I have the CardPro 9 install software. What type of PCMCIA cards should I use? Is there a documented procedure for this? Any help would be appreciated.

i have those procedures at work, i have always been told that you'll need new keycodes for that.. let us know what you find

Nortel Distributors can download the Option 11 Software. You must have a Nortel password to access. You will need a 48m PCMCIA card. Once the generic software is on the machine, you must enter the key codes which are encrypted to match the system ID number and the feature set purchased. Without these matching, it won't run. You can't change the release your on, or put that software on a different Option 11 from what it was purchased against.
