I am having to reinstall W2K onto my machine. I have a W2K disc with SP1 on and have downloaded & installed SP2 to 4 as released. If I now put W2K back I will revert to SP1 and lose SP2 to 4. Is there any way I can back these up onto CD without having to download them all again. I only have 56K dial up connection which ISP automatically disconnects after 2 hours would therefore have to download each SP individually rather than all in one go.

I am having to reinstall because I have developed a problem with Internet Explorer. I cannot connect to internet. Having read various threads on browser issues I am certain it is a winsock problem and have been told only cure is to re format and re install. I am getting a SHOCK/DNS error page. I have upgraded from 5.5 to 6.0, tried removing and reinstalling TCP/IP but still no sucess so reinstallation is last resort. If there is another way I am willing to try.
This utility is an effective way to repair Winsock service issues, and certainly a lot easier than re-installing. Note: reinstalling IE would have no effect on your Winsock service entries. Use the utility:
