RE- INSTALL UNIX IN HIPATH4000 V5

hi
please can anyone help me to reinstall unix firmware in area I in hipath4000 v5
reason I can not log assistant by engr Siemenes2000 I wanna try to reinstall unix

First try a soft restart to see if the Unix will recover by itself.

Activate all areas of Hard Disk
ACT-DSSM:A1,1;

EXE-UPDAT:BP,ALL;
EXE-UPDAT:A1,ALL;
RESTART;

Is this procedure of commands will restart hipath4000 ( system restart ) ????
I do not want to restart hipath 4000 system

If you type the question mark at the command prompt - that is ?
Then you will be given some commands.
One of those commands is
RESTART;
In capitals with a semicolon at the end.
What it does is a SOFT RESTART of the ADS
This will not affect a reload or restart of the system but it will restart the ADS which controls
Comwin, Assistant, CDR and Unix

Are they affect to telephony system ?

Connect a Manager E cable to service port (Serial) of communication server (not modem port )to laptop or PC HyperTerminal .
Unix will reinstall automatically.
Setting is 34500,8,1,N

If you want to try this you have to type in the commands.

ACT-DSSM:A1,1; (Activate the hard drive - the Unix area may be deactivated)

Backup the database as follows:

EXE-UPDAT:BP,ALL;
EXE-UPDAT:A1,ALL;
