I am a COBOL student who has been unable to get my programs to run...

The programs compile completely without error, but whenever I run my program in execute mode, they come back with error 13....why?

can I run my program to both a disk and the A: drive?

thanks for the support

Can you provide some more information?

What compiler are you using?

What is the complete error message?

With MicroFocus Cobol, error 13 is for file not found. If you are trying to open the file output or input-output you are not providing a correct path. If trying to open input the file does not exist or your need to provide the complete file path. It should work to any of your disk drives a: included.
