Re-Direct incoming faxes to Emails

Hello,

So, I've been trying to find information on forwarding incoming faxes to an email, but have been coming short. The PowerUser license supposedly enables this feature, but I've found nowhere to configure it. Can anyone point me in the right direction or tell me if this is even possible? Do I need a fax server, some specific license? Our IP Office only has a combo card expansion module(8 digital ext, 2 analog ext and 4 analog trunks) and a few Power User Licenses. Any help would be appreciated.

I use the multitech faxfinder and it works great and i dont know if you can even route faxes throught the ipo to email.

IP Office will not do this. You need a third party solution. Like jonaron, we use Multitech FaxFinder. They work like a champ.

Thought so. What caught me off guard was the Power User product information.

"Users receive all their messages—voice, email, and fax—in a single inbox"

If you want cost effective and easy to configure use Multitech. If you want reliability and good manufacturer support use FaxBack.

Faxback also will allow sending faxes from email of many different formats (pdf, txt, doc, xls). Much better than the Multitech client software which you need to put on each machine if they want to be able to send.

I've put in many Multitech's and Castelle devices, and almost always end up replacing with FaxBack.
