I'm not sure as I've never seen an 1120e, but on the 1140e when the
Nortel logo comes onto the screen you must press the 4 soft keys under
the screen in order one at a time from left to right
I don't know what you mean by "de-activated" but if all you want to do is assign that DN to a different set, just go into the IP sets under resources>telephony resources and deregister it. Once that's done, when you plug in the new set and it asks for a DN, just type it in.
Actually i de registered my DN and i want to re-activate it again in my office it is currently showing inactive in de activated DN's. It was an accident my phone never moved. I hit de register DN on accident. we have 5 ip set now it only show 4 mine is missing how do i make it reappear?
If all you did was deregister the set, just unplug it and plug it back in. When it reboots and talks to the BCM, it should ask you on the screen what DN you want it to be. Just enter your "deactivated" DN. The set will reregister itself and come up with your extension number.
Negative telcodog it is not asking for a DN and whenever someone here dials my DN it says it is not in service. is there a way to do a reset on the phone itself to Factory defaults?
As the phone can be displayed, can you enter in "Feature" *0 followed by one of the intercom keys. It should display the DN number, then press # to display the port number.

Whatever the extension of that set is (do Feature*0 and press the intercom button), just find it in the list of registered ip sets, click on it, then click on the deregister button.
When the set comes back up, it will either ask you for a DN or a password. If you know the password, enter it, then it will ask for a DN. Just enter the one you want it to be.
