Hi all, I have a problem using RDS.
I setup the control to look at an ODBC data connection that I have defined (it does not matter if it is SQL, Fox, Access, etc), but upon issueing the 'refresh' method, I get the following errors:
OLE ID DISPATCH EXCEPTION CODE 0 FROM RDSSERVER.DATAFACTORY:
THE SPECIFIED HANDLER HAS DENIED ACCESS.
I am following the exact instructions for programming that Microsoft provides, I have even downloaded Microsoft Foxpro Samples and these return the error, which leads me to think that it is not the code, but rather the way the controls have been setup.
Has anybody else come across this problem, and if so, how did you resolve this issue?
I can get it working if I work directly with the ADO objects instead of using the RDO wrappers, but I would prefer to use the higher level methods.
Thanks in advance.
