RDP Protocol Error crashes server

I am getting an event log saying The RDP protocol component X.224 detected an error in the protocol stream and has disconnected the client.

The server then stops responding.

It seems to be one particular client that causes the problem.

Server is Win2k SP2

We are going to rebuild the client PC and put on SP 3. But does anybody have any specific experience with this problem

the server stops responding completely? Or it stops accepting terminal sessions? I'd go with SP3 on the server as well...

Server is still up but no Local Login or terminal services or connection to network drives printers etc.

sounds like RPC dying...try to SP3 the server.
