RDE Compile Error

[MFCorp]

I am currently using Crystal Reports v8.5 and the updated scr8_distr_expert on Windows 2000 however, when I try to compile any report connecting to any source I get the following error message:

An application error has occurred and an application log error log is being generated.

dexpert.exe

Can someone help me? I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it, rebooted and nothing seems to work.

I'm at my wits end and need to compile some reports for distribution.

You are using Crystal 8.5 DEVELOPER correct? Not standard or Pro?

I figured out the problem, the solution is to replace the C:\WINNT\Crystal\U2LCOM.DLL with the original from CD. The works on the Developer edition.
