I am trying to set up a RDC. I am able to take control of the PC with in my LAN. However, I can not logon from outside of my LAN.
I am using the web based process. I receive the default web page from any PC but receive the folloing message when I try to send the logon information.
The client could not connect to the remote computer. Remote connections might not be enabled or the computer might be to busy to accept new connections. It is also possible that network problems are preventing your connection. Please try connecting again lated. If the problem continues to occur, contact your administrator.
Ihave a dedicated IP address to the facility that I am wrking with. They have a NAT firewall that I have been assured has been configured to allow access. This includes opening port 80. The network admin will be here in @ 3 hours so I can confirm this at that time.
If I can receive the default page from both internally, 192.168.2.194, and externally, 66.156.103.19, what would prevent me from actually connecting to the PC externally. Am I missing a prot that needs to be opened?
Any and all help is appreciated.
David
