I am trying to install RCC on a PC running XP pro with service pack 3. This is off a CallPilot 150 3.0 that does have the proper RCC Keycode installed. I cannot get it to retrieve "sync" or retrieve the calls. Could this be related to the service pack 3 as the documentation shows SP2?

Went back to site today and did another completed unistall and reinstall of RCC server, MYSQL 4.1 and RCC. remove any traces of old versions I could find and cleared web pages as well and such. RCC sever clears "test" on 192.168.32.35 port 8087; which is my CallPilot 3.1 version 31.10.36.22.

Since I am installing on same server I changed port to 8087 from 8088.

When I try to "Sync the database I get "cannot determine contact server status"

there is a test page that pops up where I can test HTML connection that does not work with either 192.168.32.35:8088 or 8087 but DOES work with the default 127.0.0.1:8087 it shows me a web page with information for the last 3 hrs "

Im totally confused now why the default IP is working and shows call activity?

Thats because the HTTP Client is looking for the server which is installed on the same PC. You will need to use "127.0.0.1" or "localhost" to connect the client to the server.

The client connects to your server NOT your callpilot. Your server connects to your callpilot.

What address do I put in the RCC server config? the CallPilot which is on the network 192.x.x.x or the default 127.0.0.1 port 8087?

Then what address do I put in the RCC config to reteieve calls, the network 192.x.x.x or the default 127.0.0.1 port 8087 or 8088 since it is on the same server.

All,

I just meet up with customer IT guy to review this application again, we uninstalled several times and reinstalled on 3 different PC's with all firewalls and Antivirus turned off and still recieved the same issue

""server status cannot be determined" when trying to retrieve calls from CallPilot. It appears all is well in the maintenance screen with all "OK" and green lights.

I dont believe this is a PC issue and rather a CallPilot issue I am running CP 3.1 Callpilot - 31.10.36.22
CCRSAppServer - 31.10.36.16
RCC - 2.45.105

however the MICS is version 4.1 would this be an issue?

your RCC AppSrvCfg setup should be your callpilot IP with port 8087. Also verify if you are using SSL to connect and check the box accordingly.

Your contact connection should be "127.0.0.1" "localhost" or the static IP of the PC you are using also with port 8087 and your CCRS password.

I have read somewhere in my travels that if 127.0.0.1 doesnt work you can add it in your windows hostfile.
