Support for RCC expired many years ago.
If it was me, I would image the customers HDD so that you always have the original working system and with a new image, try to upgrade it to Windows 10 to see if it will work.
You might have to select the Windows compatibility mode for Windows 7, but there is no guarantee that it will work.
