rbe-100 xircom and sniffer pro 4.5

I know that the realport is listed in the manual for 4.7, but does it work in 4.5? I've played with it a little and have only been able to grab CRC errors even though I am generating collisions on the hub with a different machine.

Yes and No.
This card will work with Sniffer Pro 4.5, but NAI has no driver for it. hence the reason why you will only see what you see now.

There is a driver for it in 4.7, so why not use that?

Also Sniffer will not capture collisions that occur during the preamble. Most collisions on a hub will occur during this time.
