Hey there,

Is it possible to razor a section of a clip and then re-insert the razored clip back into the project?

I have about 8 clips that are sitting in the project. I insert one of the clips and then razor out the bad parts but I can't figure out how to save the clip that is in the timeline and put it into the library.

Make sense?

Come on Guys,

i want to know the answre to this too.

Someone must have a clue.

Jay

There is no direct facility to do what you want.

In older versions of Premiere, you can either use virtual clips or save out sections of timeline to a new file using the Work Area bar.

In Premiere Pro, you can do your cutting in a separate sequence and then use the edited clip sequence like a normal clip in the main sequence.
