I have a school with an issue with there Rauland Tc2105 intercom system. When they do an all page for the morning announcements, they get a loud constant beep. the phone says it is an emergency call from different rooms. the class rooms cannot do an emergency call. the class rooms only have a button to call the office.

Does anyone have an idea on what this can be?

Thanks for the help in advance

Likely a bad call switch or connection. I BELIEVE that an emergency call switch uses a different value resistor or similar to differentiate between regular and emergency call. The admin phone display should show which room(s) are placing the call - at least getting you onto the right path. A system restart can also clear gremlins.

i understand that. but everytime they do the announcements, it is a different class room that is displayed on the admin phone. The school will not allow me to restart the system due to it will take 48 hrs for the clocks to reset themselves.
