My current ras server is dying and I was thinking of just moving this over to the IP Office. I know it can do it I just cant seem to find any documentation on how to set it up. Does anyone know where istructions are on how to set it up and tell it who has rights to dial in?

Thanks

This is not too difficult if you have digital lines.

You need a incoming call route for data calls going to a RAS destination, by default this is DialIn.
Each user has a page for DialIn were you can enable the dial-in feature and enable a time profile.
Each user must have a name and password setup and if dial-in is enable then the user can dial in on the IP Office with his/her name/password.
If you set the IP Office as a DHCP server on DialIn and fill in the DNS details thne the RAS users will receive a DHCP address from IPO and the necessery DNS/WINS details.

Thanks for the quick response. I setup a call route and also added an the internal extension to the ras Dialin but whenever I dial the extension internally or externally all I get is a busy signal. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

You do not need the modem if you are plugging into isdn to dial in.
