Hi all,

I have a problem I'm hoping you good people here at Tek-Tips can provide some insight to.

I'm using Windows Server 2003 RAS, but want to have clients dial into it, provide a username and password. Problem is that RAS wants the domain name too at login. My dial-in app doesn't have a big enough field to accommodate servername\username login.

So how can I get RAS to stop requesting the login domain?
Many thanks guys!

Are you using a modem to dial directly into the server?

What dial up are you using?

Spirit, I'm using a modem. Have tried using the modem via a laptop and a Pocket PC (which is the intended solution)
Each time I logon to RAS via dialup, the RAS server request the domain name - but I dont want this. I have created the RAS users as local users to the RAS server.
