RAS Hangs

We are experiencing hang of the Crystal RAS very frequently, for no apparent reason - no error in the error log and no error in the Event Viewer.

When this happens, the Crystal RAS process, querysrv.exe, does not respond to the Stop Service command, and the machine needs to be rebooted.

Has anybody experienced the same problem?

Please help!!
 
I have been experiencing the same problems - have you applied the latest service pack (SP2)?
 
Yes. We have applied all the latest SPs, still we are facing RAS hang
 
Having the same problem here. I logged onto the server killed the querysrv process with the kill command and start the exe manually by double clicking it rather than starting the service. I open the report que and watch as reports go in and out. I have nailed down a particular report that causes the problem.

The report works when selecting 1 customer record but freezes when selecting "all" customer records.

Thanks for sharing the similar experience. We have Crystal Enterprise RAS (which has only querysrv.exe). Please let me know how to open report que application.
