hi Friends

My machine was working fine.
One time it suddenly hung(later i could understood that the reason for that may be bad sector). So i had to reboot the machine. When i reboot the machine the bios is detecting Harddisk and memory, CD_Drive etc. But after showing the sytem information table. It stops there. Not going to any boot devices Eg: Floppy, HD or CDDrive. I made the Bios reset but still not able to boot.

Keyboard, RAM everything is OK

Can anyone help me.

Cheers

You may have some virus. Did you update definitions recently?

Hi

Yes
I scanned the Harddisk by keeping as slave og another machine. And scanned with updates files

cheers

What happens if you disconnect the hard drive and then boot? Does it get past system information table & give you missing system disk message (or, boot floppy if one in drive)?

hi wolluf

If i remove Harddisk and the try to boot the BIOS will not bypass. it will stop as saying

Wait....

But i tried by disabling all (Primary secondary & 3rd) boot devices disable. At that time, some time it will say no boot device is selected. But most of the times it again will hang after system Information table

Cheers

Sounds like some hardware gone/going bad. Have you tried disconnecting everything from mobo except keyboard & graphics card & memory? (ie, floppy, CD/DVD, hard drives, network, sound, modem cards etc) - to see if it will pass system information table? If no, can you try another graphics card? If yes - reconnect items one at at time.

(cpu fan working ok?). If this approach gets nowhere, suggest likely cpu or motherboard issue.

Hi wolluf

Ok I will check by detaching all

Processor Fan is working

Cheers
