Does anyone know if RaptorMobile 6.5.3 supports Windows XP?

If not, does anyone know if Windows XP will ever be supported by RaptorMobile?

And finally, can anyone explain what RaptorMobile EC 3 is? How does it differ from 6.5.x?

Thanks for your time.

Carl

We tried to load Mobile on XP and it will not work. We looked around Symantec's site and we could not find any info on XP.

Client for XP is not available yet. They just got support for ME so it might be a while.

I tried Raptor Mobile (latest version for Win2k) on my laptop, but then spent about 2 hours mucking about trying to get my laptop working again. It appears the VPN adaptor is the culprit, as once disabled, I had no problem, apart from Raptor not working. With it enabled, my laptop bluescreened every time I tried to boot it. I was luckily able to disable it, or I would have had to do a rebuild.
I would not even attempt to install this on XP. If you need Raptor mobile, then use Windows 2000.

If you have Raptor v6.5 firewall, then Symantec will be sending out the update to Symantec Enterprise VPN v7.0 which includes the new client. This client works on WindowsXP and connects to a Raptor v6.5 firewall. This I have tested on my WindowsXP PC at home connecting to my workplace.
