Raptor / Velociraptor?

Are these basically the same systems but one is installed and the other is pre-made on an appliance?

Are there any other people out there using the Velociraptor? I couldn't find it by browsing but is there a Velociraptor forum here on Tek-Tips? J.R. Juiliano

Symantec Enterprise Firewall is a software based firewall. The VR is pre-installed on a raq4 Sun running Linux. Going with just the SEF you install it on one of your boxes running either Solaris or NT.

You would decide what you want to do based upon the amount of users, this would stipulate what kind of hardware you would require, i.e RAM, processor, HD.
