Hi guys

Is there a way to do the following on Intelligent Queue:

DDI number gets phoned and then 1 of 5 messages must play and then route on to a queue. This client is running a promotion and wants the callers to not always hear the same message.

I have tested the following without success:
1) assigned the DDI number to a circular hunt group
2) the hunt group members are 5 phantom extensions that have been rerouted always to the IQ port hunt group
3) programmed a call flow for each phantom number as a DNIS linked to one of the messages

Unfortunately when doing this the call does not get answered. Am I over thinking this?

your DNIS will still be the same and thats why it doesnt answer.
Easiest way would be to bypass the IQ and use an ACD path to play RADS.

Record 5 different RAD messages and put all these ports in a circular hunt group and then attach that hunt group to the path recording.
Your path should have no agents and then interflow after the message is played to your path with agents.

Not sure if you can program RAD HG as circular, I thought they had to be terminal.

Thought that would be the last resort, will check how many Voicemail ports they have available to achieve this.

Thanks for your advise

a RAD hunt group can't be circular, damn then it would have been easy.
