I am running MS SQL 2000 and yesterday about 90 tables were suddenly created. The majority were done in a matter of a few seconds, with a couple made about 8 minutes later. There is no data in any of these tables, but their names look like either system info or hacker stuff. The inital ones are like:

TOP_FW_V_CLI_PR_DT
HOD_TABLE
FW_PR_V_PRI_HOD
FW_BLOCKED_HOD
FW_ATTACK_HOD

And the last couple are:
recent_emergency_FW_CL_RQ_HR
recent_critical_FW_CL_RQ_HR
recent_alret_FW..._HR

Does anyone know what this might be about?

Thanks for any info!

Looks like they might be tables for some application. Did you or anyone install and monitoring or reporting tools?

We did install firewall analyer from IQnetworks.com yesterday. That could be where it came from. Thanks!

Makes sense the FW on some of the tables made me think it was a Firewall package you may want to check the cos or contact the vendor. You can never be to safe.
